Cobepa sells its stake in Faceo
On 29 July 2010, funds managed by Apax Partners, Cobepa and other financial investors have sold Faceo to Vinci, the world's leading integrated concession-construction group.
Faceo has become in a few years a leading European player in Facility Management. As a global player, the group covers a wide range of activities based around support services for buildings and their occupants. Faceo has developed an expertise to provide those services on several sites and in several countries, which is critical to meet the needs of large European groups.
Since its acquisition from Cegelec and Thales in 2007, the financial shareholders have actively supported Faceo's successful growth. The group has completed six acquisitions in different areas of expertise, enabling the group to strengthen its positions in Europe and enlarge its service offering.
With a presence in about twenty countries in Europe and in the Middle East, Faceo has 2,500 employees today, compared with 1,500 three years ago. Its revenues increased from EUR 349 million in 2006 to EUR 430 million in 2009.
