IMFC and SGG Group join forces

It is our pleasure to announce that IMFC Management BV and the SGG group have signed an agreement to join forces. Such a union is subject to the pending approval of the DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) and the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier).

IMFC Management BV joins an international group present in Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Malta, Cyprus, the UK, the USA and New Zealand. IMFC's clients and partners will have access to global solutions thanks to the combined professional networks of the 2 firms.

IMFC's founders remain invested in IMFC via an equity commitment at SGG level. IMFC will remain an independent company under the guidance of its managing director Hans Leijdesdorff. Shareen Perret Gentil has decided to retire from the IMFC's board. Otherwise, the respective management structures remain unchanged. Within the SGG group, IMFC will focus and develop its service delivery from its home base. SGG (Nederland) BV's employees will join the IMFC team in the near future.

IMFC's management and staff will keep on servicing their existing clients and long-standing partners from their Amsterdam and Rotterdam Offices with more than 45 professionals. All terms and conditions, including fee structure, will remain unchanged.

Shareen Perret Gentil and Hans Leijdesdorff founded IMFC in 1995 with the objective to build a leading Dutch trust & fund company. IMFC counts today among the top ten players in the Netherlands. Clients include publicly and privately held companies, private equity and venture capital firms, start-up operations, partnerships, trusts and high net-worth individuals. IMFC provides them all with high quality and personalized services; the firm's founders are personally involved with the handling of their clients' businesses.

By being present in the Netherlands via IMFC, SGG group will be able to offer a strong Dutch platform to its existing and future clientele and vice versa for IMFC with the combined group's Luxembourg solutions. IMFC and SGG group share the same core value: total client satisfaction through bespoke service.

"We are happy and proud to join SGG, a corporate services group with a solid international presence complementary to IMFC's. Such a union consolidates our long-term client servicing approach as SGG group and IMFC share the same philosophy: because our clients are our raison d'être, we strive to provide them with an excellent professional service" declared Hans Leijdesdorff, IMFC founder and CEO.

"We are very pleased to include IMFC, a Dutch leading player in institutional client servicing, within the SGG family. We both can now leverage two major operational bases. The Netherlands is a country with a long and friendly tradition in servicing businesses worldwide, as is Luxembourg. We are most proud that IMFC founders have decided to become shareholders of the SGG group. They will support and contribute to SGG's development over the long term" said Serge Krancenblum, SGG's CEO.
