Since its inception in 1981, d&b has enjoyed a consistent increase in sales, well in excess of overall market growth. This remarkable growth path is testament to d&b’s strong competitive position, the quality of its products and the strength of its brand. d&b’s sales & distribution network spans more than 80 countries worldwide, including direct sales offices in key countries (France, Italy, Spain, UK, US, Japan).

Co-control buy-out & exit

Cobepa invested in d&b in October 2011, acquiring a 32.7% equity stake, alongside Odewald & Compagnie and the management. Together with its co-investment partners, Cobepa achieved further strong growth at d&b, through a combination of new product introductions, selective geographical expansion and reinforcement of the commercial organization. In April 2016, together with existing management, Ardian acquired d&b audiotechnik from Cobepa and Odewald.
